ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in a letter sent by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on 16 June in connection with the IX Global Baku Forum on the theme "Threats to the Global World Order".
"At the same time, climate change is no longer a theory. Today, the reality of hotter, drier and more changeable weather is damaging the habitat and causing casualties. To prevent the worst effects of climate change in the future, we must switch to renewable energy sources and net zero as soon as possible. These two leading forces of change will be investing heavily in renewable energy in the coming months and years," Johnson writes in the letter.
