February 3, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover in Baku amounted to 23.6 bn for the past year.
Compared with 2019, the Azerbaijani capital's trade turnover increased by 0.5%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku City Statistics Department.
The value of foods, beverages and tobacco products sold in the retail chain grew by 6.4% (versus 2019) up to AZN 11.775 bn, while the non-foods decreased by 4.6% to AZN 11.286 bn.
29.4% of consumer goods were sold at enterprises with the status of legal entity, 54.2% in retail facilities owned by individual entrepreneurs, 16.4% in the food markets of the capital.
