February 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, at today’s currency auction $59.9 million was sold to banks.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $59.9 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction the weighted average exchange rate was AZN 1.70 to the US dollar.
