January 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA informs that $69.8 million was sold to banks at the auction on 26 January.

"The demand from banks at the foreign exchange auction amounted to $69.8 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate was AZN 1.70 to the US dollar.
