January 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ).

The CBA informs that $66.4 million was sold to banks at today’s auction.

"Demand from banks at the foreign exchange auction amounted to $66.4 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate was AZN 1.70 to the US dollar.
