December 15, Fineko/abc.az. The draft amendments to the Law on Deposit Insurance have been discussed today at the plenary session of Milli Majlis.

ABC.AZ reports that the law proposes to increase the amount of compensation for protected deposits of individuals from AZN 30,000 to AZN 100,000 (in foreign currency - in the equivalent of this amount). This regulation will come into force on 5 April 2021.

The draft amendments to the law were adopted in the 2nd reading after discussion.
