December 9, Fineko/abc.az. The visit of the Italian parliamentarians has been highly appreciated in the Azerbaijani society. As, imagine, people are very attentive to all signs of support and regard it with sensitivity.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by President Ilham Aliyev as he received a delegation from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation, led by Secretary of State Manlio Di Stefano.

The Azerbaijani leader continued: "In short, the whole society regarded this visit as a sign of support. People also point out, and I agree with their opinion, that some of your neighbors pass mysterious resolutions in the parliament on the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh. The Italian MPs went to Aghdam and visited Ganja to pay tribute to Azerbaijan and express their condolences to the Azerbaijani people. As for the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh, everyone knows that even Armenia did not recognize this illegal entity. So, those of countries that want to recognize Nagorno-Karabakh must take certain steps within their own countries. They can allot a certain territory in their country and create a second Armenian state within their country, but not in Azerbaijan," the head of state stressed.
