October 12, Fineko/abc.az. Four countries have a share of more than $1 bn in Azerbaijan's annual imports of $13.667 bn.
Last year, Azerbaijan purchased goods for $2.29 bn from Russia, for $1.646 bn from Turkey, for $1.432 bn from China, and $1.223 bn from Switzerland, ABC.AZ was informed by MP Vugar Bayramov.
He noted that the remaining $7 bn of imports account for other countries. Import means currency support for this country.
That is, we send currency to countries from which we import goods: "Turkey shows serious political support for Azerbaijan in the war for our Karabakh. In recent years, the political pressure of a number of leading countries on the fraternal country has also affected the Turkish economy. We can contribute to the economy of a fraternal country by buying its goods. If we buy Turkish goods, the profit will go to the brotherly country."
