September 24, Fineko/abc.az. 162 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus over the past day in Azerbaijan, and the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection reached 39,686, ABC.AZ was informed at the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet Ministers.

One person with coronavirus died during the day, and the total number of COVID-19 victims in Azerbaijan reached 581.

The number of people who recovered from coronavirus infection reached 37,255 (+133 per day).

Currently, 1,850 people are in special-regime hospitals, the Operational Headquarters reported.

Doctors in Azerbaijan conducted 7,618 tests for coronavirus over the past day, and in total, 1.8 million tests for COVID-19 have been performed in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.
