September 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2020 Georgia imported products from Azerbaijan for $309.5 million.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with 2019, Georgia's imports from Azerbaijan declined by 15.7%.

Over the reporting period Azerbaijan's share in Georgia's total imports made up 6.3%.

With this share, Azerbaijan has become the 5th key partner on the import in this neighboring country after Turkey, Russia, China and the U.S.

For Jan-Aug 2020 Georgia exported products for $284.2 million to Azerbaijan. Compared with 2019, Azerbaijan's exports to the neighboring country fell by 11.9%.

For the past 8 months Azerbaijan has become the 2nd main export partner of Georgia after China with a share of 13.7%.
