August 4, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, $55 million was sold to banks in the currency auction on 4 August.

"The demand from banks in the currency auction amounted to $55 million and was fully provided," the CBA said in a statement.

Following the auction, the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
