President gave instructions on a street to be named after General Gashimov

July 30, Fineko/abc.az. On 29 July President Ilham Aliyev visited Gabala district of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of state spoke about the heroism of Gen. Polad Gashimov, who was killed in firing by the Armenian army in Azerbaijan’s northwestern district Tovuz along the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. The general was born in village Vendam of Gabala district.

The country’s leader gave instructions to assign the name of Gen. Hashimov to one of the streets of Gabala and other appropriate measures to perpetuate his memory.
