Azerbaijan`s exports grew by 15.7 in 2019%

January 30, Fineko/abc.az. Exports on the non-oil sector amounted to $1.954 bn for 2019.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to January’s issue of Export Review that last year’s exports in the non-oil sector increased by $265 million or 15.7% against 2018.

In 2019 Azerbaijan exported non-oil products to Russia for $690.6 million, to Turkey for $401.8 million, to Switzerland for $179 million, to Georgia for $159.1 million and to Ukraine for $50.6 million.

Compared with 2018, non-oil exports to Russia for 2019 increased by 11.5%, Turkey by 16.5%, Switzerland by 32.2%, Georgia by 27.8%, and Ukraine by 24.6%.

Tomatoes ($189.3 million) dominate in the list of non-oil sector products exported in 2019.

Gold (not used for minting coins, in other raw forms – $172.4 million) ranks the 2nd place and peeled hazelnuts ($124.2 million) the 3rd place in this list.
