Deputy Economy Minister: Azerbaijan records GDP growth of 2.4% for last 8 months

September 27, Fineko/abc.az. Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Mammadov stated today that Azerbaijan has now become a country rendering space services and exports services in the field of information technologies.

The statement was made at an event arranged on 27 September following the results of the Smart Bridge Project, organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund with the financial support of the Azerbaijani office of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

The deputy minister noted that Azerbaijan raised more than AZN 260 bn of investments, 50% of which are foreign investments. Over the past 8 months the country recorded GDP growth of 2.4%.
