September 27, Fineko/abc.az. One of the main tasks Azerbaijan is facing us is development of established industrial towns, says Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov.

Addressing to the German-Azerbaijani Business Forum, he noted that currently the Ministry of Economy is conducting constant work in accordance with the instructions of the country’s president on the formation of those industrial towns and the creation of new industrial zones. 

According to the deputy minister, one of the topical questions in this regard is the creation of an agro-industrial park in Azerbaijan.
"Very serious assessments are carried out in connection with the creation of this zone. Meetings and discussions with potential participants are organized. At the same time, Chinese companies are displaying very serious interest in that. In this regard, the relevant matters were discussed during recent meetings with both China and Azerbaijan," Safarov said.
