July 2, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) keeps transparency of foreign currency sales in the local market.

SOFAZ informs that in June of the year it sold foreign currency for $315.9 million in the currency auctions in June that is by $36.5 million (10.36%) less than in May.

In May 2019 SOFAZ sold currency for $352.4 million at currency auctions, in April for $423.7 million, in March for $600.5 million, in February for $316.2 million and in January for $634.9 million.

In just six months in 2019 SOFAZ sold at auctions the currency for $2.643 bn. In 2018 the SOFAZ currency sales reached $6.46 bn and in 2017 - $3.597 bn.
