September 25, Fineko/abc.az. Speaking at the II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum in Baku, Turkish Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mohammad Kassym Genullu stressed that thanks to information infrastructure, fiber-optic networks and energy capabilities, the two countries can become a regional digital center.

He noted that activities of the Valley of IT (Bilişim Vadisi) in Baku create a practical basis for cooperation, and also stated the importance of developing artificial intelligence technologies in Turkish and Azerbaijani with the help of the national big language model ‘Bilge’.

The deputy minister also brought to attention that Turkey has allocated $30 billion to support high technologies within the HIT-30 program and is striving to increase the capacity of data centers to 1 gigawatt by 2030.
