May 7, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) keeps transparency of its foreign currency sales in the local market.

According to SOFAZ, in April it sold they sold $423.7 million in the currency auctions against $600.5 million in March, $316.2 million in February, and $634.9 million in January.

For the past four months of 2019 alone SOFAZ sold foreign currency for $1.975 bn in the currency auctions. The figure reached $6.46 bn in 2018 and $3.597 bn in 2017.
