May 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) published the amount of the monetary base as of 1 May 2019.

The CBA reports that as of 1 May 2019 the volume of the monetary base in Azerbaijan reached AZN 9.495 bn that is by 6.1% or AZN 548.8 million more than on 1 April.

As of 30 December 2018 the monetary base in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 9.545 bn. Thus, the monetary base for the first 4 months decreased by 0.5%.

The growth of the monetary base in 2018 made up 12% or AZN 1.002 bn.
