August 14, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July 2026, retail trade sales in Azerbaijan reached 38 billion 358.5 million AZN.

According to the State Statistics Committee, 20 billion 843.9 million AZN was spent on food products, beverages, and tobacco, while non-food products accounted for 17 billion 514.6 million AZN.

Compared to the same period in 2025, retail trade turnover grew by 3.8% in real terms, driven by a 1.4% increase in food products, beverages, and tobacco sales, and a 6.6% surge in non-food product sales.
