August 4, Fineko/abc.az. The Trump administration is preparing a new decree prohibiting the import of new models of components for Chinese-made data centers into the U.S., Reuters reports, citing informed sources.

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is working on a plan to ban the import of new Chinese optical transceivers that provide high-speed data transmission over fiber-optic cables inside the data center. American officials expect to publish and enforce these restrictions as early as this year.
