Toyota Recalls Over 500,000 Camry Hybrid Vehicles Over Display Defect

August 12, Fineko/abc.az. Japanese automaker Toyota is recalling 508,354 vehicles due to potential dashboard display failures.

According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the recall covers certain 2025–2026 model year Camry Hybrid sedans.

Key Highlights:

  • Technical Defect: The digital instrument cluster display may fail to illuminate upon vehicle startup.

  • Safety Concerns: The malfunction can deactivate turn signals, hazard lights, seat belt warning chimes, and smart key reminders.

  • Free Software Fix: Toyota dealers will update the display software free of charge. Affected vehicle owners will be notified by mail.
