Intel Raises $20 Billion in Upsized Stock Offering

August 12, Fineko/abc.az. Intel Corp. raised $20 billion in an upsized share sale, approximately one-third more than the $15 billion initially targeted when the deal was announced on Monday morning.

According to people familiar with the matter, investor demand for the offering exceeded $100 billion. The shares were priced at $95 per share, representing a 6.5% discount to Friday's closing price.

Intel's massive fundraising highlights the immense investor appetite for companies across the artificial intelligence supply chain, as the chipmaker bolsters its cash reserves to secure a central role in the ongoing AI expansion.
