August 7, Fineko/abc.az. A total of 287 projects were executed in Azerbaijan under the state investment program in the first half of 2026.

According to the Ministry of Finance, 810.2 million AZN of the funds allocated for these projects was utilized during the reporting period.

The majority of expenditures were channeled into transport and water infrastructure: 337.8 million AZN went to transport projects (42 projects, 33% execution), 151.2 million AZN to water management and irrigation (88 projects, 27% execution), 51.2 million AZN to social projects (63 projects, 20% execution), 37.9 million AZN to energy and industry (11 projects, 18% execution), 60.9 million AZN to defense and law enforcement (40 projects, 34% execution), and 171.2 million AZN to other initiatives (43 projects, 36% execution).
