September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Colombia have signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of general-purpose passports, the Embassy of Colombia in Azerbaijan informs.

The agreement was signed by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Colombian counterpart Omar Bula during a meeting at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

"This agreement will further strengthen ties between our peoples and create new opportunities for the development of exchanges in various fields," the embassy said in a statement.

The agreement will enter into force after the mutual exchange of passport samples and corresponding verbal notes.
