September 22, Fineko/abc.az. The market capitalization of Azerbaijan's listed companies reached 3.65 billion manats in the 1st half of 2026. The turnover of the primary market amounted to 51.7 million manats, the secondary market - 8.8 million manats.

This is stated in the bulletin of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE: BFB) "Q2 2026: Overview of the Azerbaijani & global economy and capital markets".

In the 1st half of the year, Azerbaijan hosted the first public offering of shares in the private sector and the second in the history of the country's capital market. The BSE notes that this indicates a more active use of the capital market by private companies as a source of financing.

At that, the financial sector accounted for 99% of the capitalization of listed companies, and eight companies accounted for about 91% of the total market value.

In June, the turnover of the secondary market for ABB shares amounted to 2 million manats, and for PASHA Bank shares - 600,000 manats.
