September 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani investors are strengthening their positions in Georgia's transport and energy sectors.

According to Georgia’s Geostat, Azerbaijani investments are mainly directed to the transport and logistics, construction and financial sectors.

"Black Sea Terminal, SOCAR Gas Export-Import, midstream structures and PASHA Development Georgia, which manages the oil terminal in Kulevi, are among the main investors in the country.

A good example of the expansion of Azerbaijan's energy and logistics activities in the region is the transfer of the Baku-Supsa Western Export Pipeline and Supsa terminal to SOCAR Midstream Operations in June 2026.
