August 6, Fineko/abc.az. In the first half of 2026, the average daily oil production at oilfield block Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) totaled 323,000 barrels, and overall production reached approximately 59 million barrels (8 million tons).
This is stated in the bp Azerbaijan report.
The average daily production on the platforms was distributed as follows:
* Central Azeri: 88,000 barrels
* Western Azeri: 73,300 barrels
* Deepwater Gunashli: 47,000 barrels
* Eastern Azeri: 45,000 barrels
* ACE (Central-Eastern Azeri): 26,400 barrels
* Western Chirag: 24,000 barrels
* Chirag: 19,300 barrels
Over the first six months of the year, operating expenses for the ACG project amounted to $268 million and capital expenditures — $733 million (more than $1 billion in total).
4D seismic data processing was completed, and underwater work was successfully carried out at 5 wells of the Deepwater Gunashli block. As part of the CAGE project, 4 gas-injection compressors were upgraded on the Central Azeri platform without stopping production. The full completion of the CAGE project is scheduled for September of this year.
