August 6, Fineko/abc.az. At the end of the second quarter of 2026, the number of Azerbaijani nationals employed by bp stood at 2,363, including staff on fixed-term contracts, according to bp Azerbaijan.

Since mid-2018, 90% of bp's qualified workforce has been comprised of national staff, while non-qualified positions are 100% filled by local citizens.

The company emphasized its commitment to optimizing training and development programs and collaborating with public and private sector initiatives to further build local capability.
