09:15 - 3.08.2026

August 3, Fineko/abc.az. New limits governing card-to-card (C2C) transfers and e-wallet usage officially came into force in Azerbaijan on August 1.

Under the updated rules, individuals are restricted to a maximum of 5 transfers or top-ups per day, with a monthly cumulative cap set at 20,000 manats. These limits do not apply to transfers executed between an individual's own accounts within the same banking institution.

Additionally, individuals are now permitted to hold a maximum of two e-wallets in Azerbaijani manat and only one e-wallet per foreign currency. Regulatory authorities stated that the measures aim to curb financial fraud, tax evasion, and illegal online gambling activities.
