July 23, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2026, Georgia exported sheep to Azerbaijan for $1.3 million (2.5-fold more against Jan-jun 2025), the National Statistics Office of Georgia informs.

Thus, Azerbaijan took the 3rd place among the countries, importing sheep from Georgia.

In the first 6 months of this year, Georgia exported sheep for $11.7 million (3-fold more versus the previous year).

Georgia exported sheep to Saudi Arabia for $5.6 million, to Qatar for $1.8 million, to Libya for $1 million, and to Kuwait for $1 million.
