11:04 - 24.07.2026

July 24, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. is imposing trade tariffs of 10-12.5% on 60 key partners for not having or not effectively enforcing a ban on the import of goods produced with forced labor.

The minimum rate of 10% will affect countries with already existing restrictions (including the UK, India, Canada and Mexico), while for the rest, tariffs will rise to 12.5%.

The measures will take effect on Friday and will replace the temporary global duty that was previously in place.
