May 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2025, output for 229.1 million manats was produced in the textile industry, clothing, leather and leather goods, and footwear.

Compared with Jan-Apr 2025, the textile industry saw an increase of 31.7%, the production of leather and leather goods, footwear by 8.7% and production of clothing by 5.2%, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee. 

This April, population’s spending on textiles, clothing and footwear in retail outlets amounted to 52.9 million manats.
