April 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Stock Exchange has presented a report on last year's economic performance.
ABC.AZ informs that in 2025, inflation stabilized, reaching a 12-month high of 5.2% (2024: 4.9%).
The nominal effective exchange rate remained generally stable throughout the year, indicating limited pressure on the nominal exchange rate.
The real effective exchange rate observed growth at the beginning of the year, but later softened.
This dynamic was driven by changes in inflationary disagreements with trading partners and easing pressure on the real exchange rate.
In general, macroeconomic indicators in 2025 reflect the dynamics of moderate economic growth, stable inflation and stable public debt.
