February 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan discussed the Bill on the Crypto Assets Market prepared by the CBA.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the CBA, that CBA governor Taleh Kazimov held a meeting with representatives of organizations outside the Azerbaijan Association of Fintech (AzFina).

During the meeting, the sides discussed the directions of institutional development of the fintech ecosystem, as well as the possibilities of increasing access to digital financial services and innovative solutions.

During the discussion, the sides exchanged views on CBA's priority areas and strategic initiatives supporting the development of the financial technology sector - open banking, the distributed concept of "Get to know your Customer" and the draft law "On the Crypto Assets Market". In addition, the opportunities created by the AÖS payment system and the importance of a special regulatory regime were highlighted.
