November 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is still looking for an effective mechanism of student loan use.

Finance Minister Samir Sharifov stated that such a mechanism has not yet been found.

"The problem is that repayment of those loans is under a big doubt and the banks don’t want to undertake such a risk and even if the State Budget undertakes giving of student loans, we must admit in advance that those loans will hardly be repaid. The effective mechanism has not been found yet. Of course, there are certain attempts, but I wouldn’t say they will solve the problem en masse," the minister said.
