November 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan is planning to take the first step towards introducing unified open banking standards in the country.

ABC.AZ reports that Sahib Hasanov, the head of the CBA Department for the Organization of Special Regulatory Regime, said this at today’s IX International Banking Forum.

He added that the introduction of uniform standards will increase transparency and strengthen competition in the financial sector.

"In addition to common standards, a common infrastructure has been created so that all organizations can use open banking services through this infrastructure," Hasanov noted.
