Grossi: Iran has almost all of its enriched uranium left

10:55 - 5.11.2025

November 5, Fineko/abc.az. Almost all of the enriched uranium remains in Iran after the Israeli and U.S. strikes.

ABC.AZ informs that the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, stated this to newspaper Financial Times.

"The material is still there, and although we do not associate it with any ultimate goal, it is obvious that the very existence of such a high level of enrichment, close to weapons-grade, is worrisome," the paper quoted Grossi as saying.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that the leadership of the Islamic Republic intends to continue enriching uranium for peaceful purposes and excludes the possibility of discussing the future of its missile program.
