October 21, Fineko/abc.az. When organizing portal azexport.az, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, representatives of the wholesale network of Belarus visited Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that during the visit, meetings were held with local entrepreneurs in Lankaran, Astara, Goychay and Hajigabul districts, as well as visual presentations on modern opportunities created in gardens where products are grown and in storage facilities.

Andrey Drozden, director of the Belarusian wholesale network, said that his company imports products from countries such as Spain, Turkey, Egypt, and Uzbekistan.

The visitors were particularly interested in the gardens and the quality of the products created in Azerbaijan.

"In particular, citrus fruits and persimmons are distinguished by their high quality and taste. I believe that citrus products grown in Azerbaijan are among the top three in taste and quality among the products on the world market. This trip with the support of the Azexport portal and the signed agreements are just the beginning. We have already started planning trips for the coming weeks to get acquainted with the production of confectionery and canned goods and determine orders," . Drozden added.
