September 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (CAERC) has released preliminary data in the September issue of its “Export Review.”
According to ABC.AZ, non-oil exports from Azerbaijan increased by 10.3% in January–August 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, reaching USD 2.4 billion. During this period, food exports rose 22.9% to USD 774.2 million.
Over the first eight months of 2025, exports of sugar increased by 58.2%, fruits and vegetables by 32.2%, chemical products by 24.3%, cotton yarn by 16.3%, tea by 2.1%, and ferrous metals and products thereof by 0.2% compared to the same period last year.
In January–August 2025, exports of agricultural products grew 28.2% to USD 614.4 million, while exports of agro-industrial products increased 4.7% to USD 209.5 million. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products rose 21.3%, reaching USD 823.9 million.
