Iran to increase renewable energy capacity to 7,000 MW by 2026

September 2, Fineko/abc.az. Iran plans to increase the installed capacity of renewable energy sources to 7,000 MW by March 2026, adding 100 MW each week. According to ABC.AZ, the share of renewables in the energy mix should rise from 1.5% to 15%. The main focus is on solar power, and long-term contracts with guaranteed returns are being offered to investors.
