August 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Central Bank, as of July 1, 2025, the loan portfolio of banks and other credit institutions in the country increased by 12% against Jan-Jun 2024, reaching 30.23 bn manats in national currency equivalent.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Statistics Committee, 25.322 bn manats, or 83.8% of the total loan portfolio, accounted for long-term loans. 94.2% of loans were given by banks and 5.8% by non-bank credit organizations and credit unions.

The volume of overdue loans increased by 16.8% for Jan-Jul 2025 up to 527.4 million manats and made up 1.7% of the overall loan portfolio.
