July 25, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, in the 1st half of 2025, the average rate on consumer loans given for housing repairs was 17% (1 p.p. higher than at the end of 2024), ABC.AZ reports referring to the Central Bank.

Over Jan-Jun 2025, the average rate on consumer loans for the purchase of household equipment increased by 1 p.p. upto 26%, and for car purchases by 2 p.p. up to 12%.

The average rate on consumer loans in national currency via credit cards in the 1st half of 2025 decreased by 1 p.p. to 25% compared with the end of 2024.

As for other consumer loans, the average rate for loans in the national currency at the end of June 2025 increased by 1 p.p. up to 21% against December 2024.
