Azerbaijani NBCOs suffer big loss - Report

July 25, Fineko/abc.az. Non-bank credit organizations (NBCOs) in Azerbaijan finished the 1st half of this year with net loss of 13.2 million manats. At the same time, NBCOs ended the same period of 2024 with net profit of 76.6 million manats.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Central Bank that for the past 6 months, NBCOs’ operating income amounted to 218.2 million manats (26.2% more year-on-year), operating expenses - 149.5 million manats (93.7% more), transfers to special reserves - 76.8 million manats (26.5-fold more), unforeseen income - 200,000 manats (that is the same), and income tax payments - 5.3 million manats (3.1-fold less).

As of July 1 of this year, NBKOs’ assets amounted to 963.4 million manats (12.8% more than 1 year ago). Of them, 671.8 million manats are net loans provided to customers. Over the past year, the sector's loan portfolio has grown by 6.5%.

For the past half of 2025, NBCOs’ liabilities increased by 6.8% up to 512.5 million manats, the balance sheet capital by 20.5% up to 450.8 million manats, including the authorized capital by 28.7% up to 272.2 million manats.
