July 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan is monitoring the impact of tensions with Russia on import and export operations.
ABC.AZ reports that Taleh Kazimov, the governor of the regulator's board, made the relevant statement at the CBA press conference on the parameters of the interest rate corridor.
The governor noted that Russia is one of our main trading partners in the non-oil/gas sector.
"Currently, we don't see any drastic changes in this area," he added.
CBA Statistics Department’s director Samir Nasirov said that due to interstate tensions, there are no significant changes in both import-export and money transfers.
