July 23, Fineko/abc.az. The annual inflation was 6% iIn the first six months of 2025.

ABC.AZ  reports that Taleh Kazimov, the governor of the regulator's board, made the above-said statement at a press conference at the Central Bank, dedicated to the parameters of the interest rate corridor.

He noted that this corresponds to the forecasts of the Central Bank.

According to Kazimov, this was not a surprise - he noted that core inflation for the first 6 months of the year was 4.8%.

"The strengthening of the nominal effective exchange rate in nominal terms by 1.9% had restraining effect on inflation of 0.52%. Annual inflation is expected to reach 5.7% in 2025 and 5.3% in 2026," the governor noted.
