July 22, Fineko/abc.az. The price of gold increased by 1.3% and exceeded $3,400 per 1 troy ounce. This is evidenced by the trading data.

ABC.AZ informs that as of 6:35 p.m. on July 21, the price per ounce of gold is $3,414. This figure has exceeded the $3,400 mark for the first time since June 20.

According to the World Gold Council (WGC), the price of gold grew by 26% in the first half of this year. Growth of another 5% is projected for the 2nd half of the year. In the course of large-scale conflict resolution, the WGC assumes that the price of gold will decrease by 12-17%, and in the event of a sharp deterioration in the global financial and economic situation, prices may rise by 10-15%.
