July 8, Fineko/abc.az. Farid Abushov, the chairman of board at Unibank, has left his post.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the decision of the shareholders of Unibank, his duties will be temporarily performed by his deputy Eybat Gadirov, who has been working at the bank since 2008.

Unibank was established in 2002 through the merger of two commercial banks in Azerbaijan - Mbank, which has been operating since 1992, and Promtexbank, which has been in existence since 1994. The authorized capital of the Bank is 149.386 million manats. 94.08% of the Bank's shares belong to Eldar Gharibov (chairman of the Supervisory Board), and 5.92% belong to other legal entities and individuals.
