Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry stated about country’s desire to become SCO member

July 3, Fineko/abc.az. Armenia intends to become a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

ABC.AZ informs that the Ministry stressed that the country shares the fundamental principles of the SCO: territorial integrity, non–use of force and inviolability of borders.

"The Republic of Armenia has expressed its desire to become a member of the SCO," the Foreign Ministry's press service said.

Currently, Russia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Iran are SCO members.
