May 27, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed energy cooperation between Ankara and Moscow, including Russian gas supplies to Turkey, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Hakan Fidan.

He noted that the sides also discussed the matters relating to the construction of Akkuyu nuclear power plant. Putin has shown great interest in this project. Negotiations between BOTAŞ and Gazprom about gas supplies also continued. Turkey has asked Russia for support in this matter. Hakan Fidan called the meeting with Vladimir Putin productive.
